Óscar López Velarde participated as speaker in the Virtual 13th Annual U.S. and Latin America Tax Practice Trends Conference, in the panel “Digital Economy – OECD Pillar 1 & 2 Developments and the Latin American Digital Taxes in Practice”, which examined the digital economy as it affects Latin America, the changes in tax law that have been implemented so far, and what legislation and solutions are now under consideration for the future. 

This event hosted by the American Bar Association, focuses on practical tax practice trends for multinational corporations and their international advisors, as well as on providing insight into how government tax officials may view the international tax landscape in light of important international developments that impact corporate taxpayers.
