Ana L. Casasús Trejo Lerdo joined the firm in 2007. She specializes in Banking and Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

    Ana Casasus has experience advising financial institutions and fund managers in local and international financing transactions, as well as in the execution of mergers and acquisitions and real estate financings, among other sectors. As to her mergers and acquisitions practice, she has advised purchasers, sellers and financial advisors in acquisitions and sales of private companies of diverse segments.

  • RELEVANT TRANSACTIONS
    • Represented HSBC México in connection to the refinancing of a Credit granted in 2014.
    • Represented PGIM Real Estate, PRUMEX Industrial III Trust in the hiring of a simple loan with Banco Nacional de México and other banks as Lenders, and National Bank of Foreign Trade as administrative agent and guarantor, for an amount of USD$175 million for the payment of certain existing credits and corporate purposes in general. 
    • Represented Banco Nacional de México in the granting of simple credit to Planigrupo Latam (through certain project trusts), for an amount of MXN$27.7 million for the payment of up to 80% of the VAT actually paid in the acquisition of two shopping centers in Jalisco, Mexico.
    • Represented SabCapital SOFOM in connection to the granting of a simple loan to Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe, (through certain subsidiaries), for an amount of USD$28.8 million for the payment of the necessary amount, substitution of investments. 
    • Represented SabCapital, SOFOM in the granting of a simple loan to Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe (through certain subsidiaries), for an amount of USD$31.5 million for the payment of existing debt, long-term financing, substitution of liabilities and investment reimbursement. 
    • Represented Banco Nacional de México in the granting of a simple loan to Planigrupo Latam (through certain project trusts), for an amount of MXN$200 million for the acquisition of two shopping centers in Jalisco, Mexico. 
    • Represented Terrafina, Investment Trust in Industrial Real Estate (FIBRA), in the contracting of a credit line with Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, in the amount of USD$150 million. Also, as part of the collateral for this loan, the assets of 51 FIBRA industrial buildings were contributed to the guarantee trust. The counterparty was Metropolitan Life Insurance Company.
    • Represented Banamex in the structuring and restructuring of diverse real estate financings, regarding commercial plazas and malls in Mexico City and other states, including Outlets Lerma and the Commercial Plaza Patriotismo.
    • Represented Banco Sabadell in the structuring of diverse hotel financings of Grupo Hotelero Sante Fe.
    • Represented Prudential in the structuring of the financing granted by Banamex for the real estate projects of Mitikah and Urbania.
    • Represented BBVA in the structuring of diverse corporate financings to Gigante and Toks.
    • Represented Linzor Capital in diverse financings for its M&A transactions.
