    Luis Alonso Suárez del Real Tostado has advised national and international financial institutions and borrowers, in the structuring and restructuring of credit facilities for public and private sector entities. He has also participated in equity offerings in Mexico and abroad.

    • Represented Citigroup Global Markets, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley as representatives of the underwriters in the offering by Fomento Económico Mexicano of USD$700 million of its 3.500% Notes due 2050.
    • Represented Banco Santander México in its issuance of USD$1,750 of its 5.375% Notes due 2025.
    • Represented BofA, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, as representatives of the underwriters in the offering by Fomento Económico Mexicano, of USD$300 million of its 3.500% Notes due 2050.
    • Represented Barclays Capital, BBVA Securities, BNP Paribas Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities, Morgan Stanley, MUFG Securities Americas, Scotia Capital (USA) and SMBC Nikko, as dealer managers in connection with the preparation of an Exchange Offer by Petróleos Mexicanos, to exchange certain outstanding securities for new issues by Pemex of new United States Dollar-denominted Notes due 2031 and 2060.
    • Represented Barclays Capital, BBVA Securities, BNP Paribas Securities, J.P. Morgan Securities, Morgan Stanley, MUFG Securities Americas, Scotia Capital and SMBC Nikko Securities America, as managers pursuant to certain distribution agreement, in the offering by Petróleos Mexicanos of (i) USD$2,500 million of its 5.950% Notes due 2031, and (ii) USD$2,500 million of its 6.950% Notes due 2060.
    • Represented Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, as initial purchasers in the offering by Aeroméxico of USD$400 million of its 7.000% Senior Notes due 2025.
    • Represented BofA Securities, Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan Securities, as representatives of the underwriters in the offering by Fomento Económico Mexicano of USD$1,500 million of its 3.500% Notes due 2050.
    • Represented Barclays Capital, BNP Paribas and Morgan Stanley International, as initial purchasers in the offering by Crédito Real of EUR€350 million of its 5.000% Senior Notes due 2027, in accordance with Rule 144A of the Securities Act of 1933.
    • Represented Industrias Peñoles in connection with its offering of USD$1,100 million aggregate principal amount of its 4.150% senior notes due 2029, and 5.650% senior notes due 2049.
    • Represented Engenium Capital, in its capacity as borrower and guarantors, in a USD$40 million Term Loan. Nomura Securities International acted as lead arranger.
    • Represented Altos Hornos de México (AMHSA) in connection with an Advance Payment Facility Agreement for USD$475 million entered into by AHMSA and certain entities, as borrowers, and Cargill Financial Services International, as lender, which purpose was to pay the "Convenio General de Pago" under the "Suspensión de Pagos" procedure of AHMSA. 
    • Represented BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets, Merrill Lynch International and Banco Santander as representatives of the initial purchasers in the offering by CEMEX of EUR€400 million of its 3.125% Senior Secured Notes due 2026.
    • Represented the underwriters in connection with the Inicial Purchase Offering of shares by Grupo Becle.
    • Represented Navistar Financial in the establishment of a program before the CNBV and BMV, for the securitization of collection rights for a total amount of MXN$5,000 million, as well as advice on the first three issuances under the program.
    • Has represented Airbus in connection with the development of legal structures for the sale of aircraft to Mexican airlines, including VivaAerobus and Interjet.
    • Represented Banco Santander España in the finance restructuring of Grupo CAF for the concession of a suburban railway in Estado de México.
    • Represented by Grupo Frisa in the establishment of a program before the CNBV and BMV for the securitization of collection rights arising from lease agreements (in malls), and a first issuance of Certificados Bursátiles Fiduciarios (CBFs) for MXN$1,000 million.
    • Legal advice to Spruceview Capital in the establishment of structure and issuance of Certificados Bursátiles de Proyectos de Inversión (CERPIs) in Mexico for USD$300 million.
    • Represented the borrowers in connection with a syndicated loan granted to Grupo Kaltex, for USD$110 million, along with the creation of a securities and collateral package.
