Rodrigo Durán de la Vega joined the firm in 2018. He specializes in Banking and Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions.
    Rodrigo Durán de la Vega has more than 10 years of experience in transactional practice. Throughout his career, he has advised financial entities in obtaining the revocation of their authorizations to operate as banks, brokerage houses and holding companies of financial groups, as well as in the consequent processes of dissolution and liquidation of such entities. 

    Additionally, Rodrigo has participated in the structuring and granting of credits, and he has advised purchasers, sellers and financial advisors in acquisitions of private companies and assets. He has also participated in the issuance and offering of debt and equity of private and public companies in Mexico. 

    He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, United States (2018).
    • Represented the lenders in the financing of a 375 MW photovoltaic power project located in the State of Aguascalientes, Mexico. The energy to be generated will be sold to CENACE, as the electricity market clearing house, under a coverage power agreement awarded to the borrower under the third long term CENACE auctions.
    • Represented Desarrolladora Vesta in connection to a term loan of US$90 million granted to Corporación Inmobiliaria Vesta.
    • Represented the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit in the establishment of a base indenture and the asset backed securitization of the Mexico-Puebla toll road through the issuance of two series of notes the “MXPUCB 18U” and “MXPUCB 18” in the Mexican Stock Exchange.
    • Represented Bancomext, Natixis and Société Générale in the financing of a 300 MW solar photovoltaic project, located in Aguascalientes, Mexico, for an aggregate amount of more than USD$142 million.
    • Participated in the issuance and offering of CEBURES backed by collection rights of road assets of FONADIN, for up to MXN$$22,000 million.
    • Represented Credit Suisse, as manager of a CKDs issuing trust, in the granting of a revolving credit facility to such trust for more than MXN$1,500 million.
    • Represented ING during the processes of revocation of the operation licenses to its bank, broker dealer and financial group, as well as in the consequent dissolution and liquidation processes of such entities.
