We represented Fibra MTY, in a syndicated structured loan for an amount of USD$150 million granted by HSBC, and which was partially used for the acquisition of Whirpool’s corporate offices in Monterrey, Nuevo León.
We represented Fibra MTY, as purchaser and landlord, in the sale-and-lease-back transaction of Whirlpool’s industrial campus in Monterrey, Nuevo León, which has a surface of approximately 388,546 m2 and is comprised by 10 office buildings and industrial premises for the manufacture and distribution of products. This acquisition represented the largest single-asset, single-tenant, industrial sale lease back in the history of Mexico.
We represented MREIT, a real estate private equity fund sponsored by Credit Suisse in Mexico, in a loan of USD$53 million to Grupo Jomer and secured by real estate assets, to refinance outstanding real estate loans.
We represented Walton Street Capital, in the joint venture with Copri for the acquisition of two plots of land and the development of a high-end housing complex, in the area of Santa Fe known as “Parque La Mexicana”, in Mexico City.
